How To Remove Incipio Dualpro Iphone 6 Case

The Incipio DualPro is a well-built slim iPhone 6 and 6 Plus case. Why can't other cases be like the DualPro?

The Incipio DualPro is a great iPhone case. We'll be honest with you, this is one of our favorite iPhone cases to date and that's saying something because we haven't had much luck with other Incipio products like the Atlas ID. The iPhone inside the case feels and is well-protected and we're really big fans of the the materials that Incipio used but some people may not like the texture of the case.

The DualPro comes in two pieces, a polycarbonate frame made from Plextonium and a shock absorbing inner core made from dLAST TPE. Basically, the sleeve that the iPhone sits in doesn't stretch and absorbs shock while the outer layer is shock resistant and we're going to add, scratch resistant which is always a great feature in a case. This case fits your iPhone like a tailored suit and for 30 bucks, it's a great deal.

Based on our review period for the Incipio DualPro review, we gave it a score of 4.2 Eh's out of 5. This isn't our highest rated iPhone case but it is one of our favorites. It's scored the same as the Urban Armor Gear, higher than the Spigen Tough Armor and is just a bit lower than the Tech 21 Classic Shell.

Design – It feels like rubber but isn't grip like rubber?

Incipio DualPro Review - Color, well-designed cases The build-quality of the Incipio DualPro is its standout feature. The pieces fit very well together and aren't loose like some of the edges you'd find on cases like the Otterbox Commuter. The outer shell fits tightly with the inner sleeve and is fairly scratch resistant. We didn't realize how nice this scratch resistance is until we compared it to other cases like the Speck CandyShell that are magnets for scratches. I'm not sure how else to put it but the Incipio DualPro is going to age well.

The Incipio DualPro will almost double the thickness of your iPhone and like most iPhone cases, add an extra 1/8 inch around your iPhone. Installing your iPhone into the case is simple and you can get away with installing the iPhone without having to take the case apart.

Protection – Slim protection that protects your iPhone from 4ft drops

Given that Incipio has drop-rated their case to 4ft, we had to drop $2000 dollars worth of iPhones to ensure that the case will protect your iPhone for our Incipio DualPro review. We've come across several cases that are "tough" but they don't say how high you can drop it. With the DualPro, it's drop rated to 4ft and we can attest to that since we dropped $2000 dollars worth of iPhones in these DualPro's.

In terms of protection, the lip of the case isn't significant but it will extend past the iPhone's touchscreen a couple of mm's so it will keep the iPhone's screen off a flat surface. The edges don't extend past the rounded area of the iPhone so it's compatible with other screen protectors. We will add that Incipio doesn't include a screen protector with this case.

As another side note for the drop rating of the Incipio DualPro, the iPhone 6 Plus version doesn't have the same drop information as the iPhone 6 version. Whether this is an oversight by Incipio, we still feel comfortable dropping our iPhone 6 Plus in this case.

Functionality – Might be an issue with larger headphone jacks

Incipio DualPro Review - HeadPhone Jack Issue As we mentioned at the beginning, the case is pretty slick and can easily slide out of your hand if you're not careful. If you're a person who likes to use their iPhones with 2 hands, this might not be a problem but if you're a 1-hander, this might not be the case for you.

Getting to all the hardware functions of your iPhone aren't hindered by the case but we will say that you might have a bit of trouble using headphone jacks that are larger than the Apple EarPod.
